A charlie brown christmas

Back in 1965 Charlie Brown in ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ asked the ultimate ‘Christmas’ question, “Can anyone tell me what Christmas is all about?” For Charlie Brown and 36 million viewers of that first Charlie Brown Christmas they heard Linus give the answer we all need to hear from Luke 2:8-14 which speaks of Jesus’ birth: “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Often when we read this verse we think of just a ‘baby wrapped in swaddling cloths.” However, scripture reveals the baby is the creator of the universe, he is God who radiates his own glory, not just a reflection of God. He is also the exact imprint of God’s nature, who sustains the universe by his spoken word, so He could pay our debt by bearing the wrath that is rightly ours for going our own way (Hebrews 1:2-4). So what is Christmas all about Charlie Brown? Christmas is about strengthening your spiritual life and your love for Jesus the Messiah, who I pray you will receive as your Lord and Savior.
